Transforming Oral Health for Care Providers
We train champions to elevate oral health awareness among care home staff to ensure the wellbeing and dignity of residents by preventing health complications.
Your Partner in Oral Health Care
Our mission is to elevate the standard of oral health offered or delivered to residents who rely on carers in homes, hospices or any residential setting for their daily oral health. These often vulnerable residents would have routinely undertaken mouthcare for themselves when their physical or mental ability was better but due to their current circumstances they now rely on the ability, confidence and knowledge of others. The effects of inadequate mouthcare can result in conditions such as dry mouth or Candida which will affect a persons nutritional intake or a bacterial build up in the oral cavity will increase the risk of pneumonia.
The affects on general health, dignity and wellbeing from poor oral hygiene has been previously evidenced but staff in many settings often get little or no training or support on effective delivery of this basic daily task. Would your staff recognise or know the difference from a healthy or unhealthy mouth or understand the impact on a resident from the loss of a denture?
We provide specialized training and subject matter support, so your care teams are not alone.

Improved Resident Outcomes
Oral health champions help reduce the impact of poor oral health by promoting preventive care, early intervention, and consistent oral hygiene practices, particularly among vulnerable populations.
Enhanced Quality of Care
Integrating oral health into daily care routines supports holistic health management, recognizing the link between oral health and systemic conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and respiratory infections.
Increased Knowledge and Confidence
Training provides evidence-based knowledge and practical skills, enabling staff to confidently assess oral health needs, identify risks, and deliver appropriate advice or referrals.
Compliance With Standards and Regulations
The CQC require regulatory standards at inspection which require evidence of effective oral health promotion. Having trained champions supports compliance with national guidelines, safeguarding standards, and best-practice frameworks.
Support for Vulnerable Groups
Oral health champions play a critical role in supporting children, older adults, people with disabilities, and those with complex needs who may struggle to maintain oral hygiene independently.
Cost-Effective Prevention
Preventive oral health interventions reduces the need for emergency dental treatment, hospital admissions, and associated costs for individuals and services.
Staff Development and Leadership
The role promotes leadership, accountability, and professional development, enabling staff to act as role models and mentors within their teams.
Consistent Practice Across Teams
Champions help standardize oral health practices, ensuring consistent messaging, routines, and documentation across services and shifts.
Improved Awareness and Education
Oral health champions raise awareness among colleagues, patients, families, and carers, reinforcing the importance of daily oral care and healthy lifestyle choices.
